Preparing to celebrate the very first St. Thérèse of Liseux festival | October 21st, 2018

Dear Parishioners and Guests of Little Flower Catholic Church,

Peace of Christ!

This is to respectfully inform you that the Little Flower Catholic Church and School in Pensacola will celebrate its first ever St. Thérèse Festival on Sunday, the 21st of October 2018.  We will be very honored if you can celebrate with us the feast of our patroness, St. Thérèse of the Little Flower.  There will be religious activities both in the church and in the school for the month of October. On the day of the Festival: procession of the image of St. Thérèse of the Little Flower, entertainment, an international food festival, silent auction, games for kids and adults, music and dance, and a raffle are highlighted.

All the proceeds from the Festival will be used to put up a grotto between the Church and the School.  The 73-year old Parish and School has realized the need for the grotto to strengthen devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary andSt. Thérèse of the Little Flower.  This endeavor will help the  children from the school and the parishioners to be drawn to meditation and silent prayer every time they walk through the  grotto.

Since this will be our first ever Festival we are looking for  some generous donors and sponsors to support our plans and projects.  The steering committee needs appropriate funds for the food, drinks and  prizes for the raffle and contests.  Any contribution you can share and donate, whether in cash or in kind, will be highly appreciated.  Please put under the name of the Church any checks and contributions you may want to provide.

Little Flower Catholic Church and School is Not-For-Profit Institution, Classified as Tax-Exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Contributions may be deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Once again, please come and join us at the St. Thérèse Festival and thank you very sincerely for your kindness and generosity.

In St. Therese of the Child Jesus,

Fr. Matthew Worthen

Fr. Alberic P. Lazerna, OSB

Parochial Vicar
