Celebrating my first year anniversary at Little Flower Church

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is hard for me to believe one year has passed since joining the staff here at Little Flower Catholic Church. What a year it’s been! I’ve had the honor of assisting at baptisms, funerals, school Masses, and liturgies with the Bishop. Through it all, I’ve felt welcomed here among you as part of the Little Flower family. My role during the Mass is simple: to assist with the training and formation of the altar servers. When I became a server in third grade, I was drawn to the beauty of the Mass and felt it so special to be able to assist during the liturgy. Now, 22 years later, it is my hope to share that same sense of reverence and purpose with our current generation of servers.

If your child is interested in becoming an altar server, please contact the office or email me at wessak@ptlittleflower.org to sign up for our next training.

Our minimum requirements are that the individuals interested in serving have 1) received their first holy communion 2) are in third grade or higher and 3) are willing to be trained.

In Christ,

-Kevin Wessa
