Join us at Little Flower Catholic Church at 6pm on December 11th for our Advent Penance Service. We will have six priests available to hear confessions, and they will remain in the church as long as people are still coming.
Sin is to the soul what disease is to the body and forgiveness is the Divine operation that heals. Advent is a beautiful time to receive the Sacrament of Penance, as we prepare our souls for the coming of Christ into our world, our lives, and our hearts. We hope that you join us for our Advent Penance Service, and can say with all sincerity the words of John the Baptist, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Let us prepare for the coming of Christ with joyful hearts!
“All you who lie in the dust, wake up and sing praise, because the healer comes for the sick, the redeemer for those in slavery, the way for those who were lost, the life for those who were dead. He comes, the One who will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea, who will heal all our illnesses, who will cary us on His back to restore our original dignity. Great is His power, but greater still is His mercy, because this is how He was pleased to come to our aid.” – St. Bernard of Clairvaux
