Through the use of a wide variety of materials and resources for children to explore independently, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play, the teacher should create a classroom environment that allows children both group and independent learning.
The teacher should be well versed in creating high quality centers that develop creativity, explore early childhood mathematical concepts (such as patterns, one to one correspondence, and grouping) use multi-sensory tools, and build language through cooperative learning. The teacher should understand how to create routines, establish a daily schedule, and give children the opportunity for cooperative, independent, and self-directed responsibilities and learning. This highly organized teacher should value and lead activities designed to promote gross motor and social-emotional development, hygiene, and literacy.
The teacher must place a high value on positive parent interaction, personal organization, and gentle, joy filled student interaction that models Christian love.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field, Master’s degree in Early Childhood or Special Education is preferred. Candidates must have or be eligible for certification in Florida.

Under general supervision from the Principal and Maintenance Director, performs custodial duties to include overall building and grounds maintenance and repair functions.
One (1) year experience in custodial, building maintenance or general labor.
Handle and use of various types of cleaning and waxing compounds, lawn mowers, lawn and plant fertilizers and insecticides, floor buffers and custodial equipment, and basic tools utilized in building maintenance; a working knowledge of maintenance and repair work; thorough knowledge of proper safety techniques and procedures. Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions, make routine decisions independently, sustain long periods of light to moderately heavy physical activity, and work well with others.
